Invitation

Are you looking forward to our 14th Annual music festival as much as we are?  It is hard to wait for that day in June when guests start to arrive.  Seeing the first RV roll in, experiencing the joy and excitement of meeting friends from past years, meeting new ones who are here for the first time - those are exciting times for us and our hearts rejoice when the opening day finally arrives.

True, before that day there will be much work to do in preparing, many things to plan for and to trust God for as he provides, but even those days are exciting for us because so many friends and family pitch in to help.  Some will have come on one of the weekends before, simply dropping in to see if they can help with the washing up, any reconstruction or new construction that is needed;  others will arrive early in the week of the event to help mow the grass, hook up the propane stoves and to just generally get ready for everyone.  And as they come to help, we get the privilage of spending time with them, getting to know them better, and worshipping with them.

The Lord is so good!

We are looking forward to meeting you again this year.  It should be an exciting time (it is always exciting to see what the Lord has planned) and also a time of building our faith in our Lord and his love for us.

See you on June 21, 2012 if you are not one of those who come to help in the set up.

Facilities

The Festival is held on the grounds of Stikine Canyon Ranch.  There is ample room for tenting, or parking of an RV but guests are advised that there are no power or water or sewer hookups for camping units.

There is a shower house but use of it is somewhat restricted since it is the facility used by the owners of the Ranch and only has one toilet and shower.

There are several outhouses on the site.

The Festival itself is held indoors in a 40X60 ft building and is comfortably warm.  A good sound system is in use each year and the buildings are all powered by a large generator.

There is a communal eating area, indoors, and food is provided in the kitchen facilities.  People are requested to consider donating either financially or by donating goods.

THERE IS NO CHARGE TO ATTEND AND THE MEALS PROVIDED ARE FREE!  However, there will be free will offerings held each evening to help defray the costs and to assist those ministering, either in song or Word, with some of thier traveling costs.
